Step Up Youth Challenge Summit is this Thursday!

We are so excited and can not wait for you and your students to join us at the 2013 Step Up Youth Challenge Summit that will be this Thursday, October 24, 2013.

Here are some friendly reminders for Advisors to prepare for this week's event:

Teams are expected to check in between 8-9 AM, with the event starting at 9 AM.

As a reminder, 10 students and up to two alternates are allowed to attend this year's Summit.  All Students need to have a signed copy of permission slip turned in at the event or will not be able to participate in the festivities.

Advisors need to turn in the following documents: W-9 form, Discipline Procedures, and Advisor Agreement.

While it is tempting to take a trip to the Starbucks around the corner, once checked in, all students and advisors are to remain on site (Visalia Convention Center) for the duration of the Summit which ends at approximately 2:30 PM.

A transportation stipend of up to $100 is available to all schools.  If interested, please remit invoice for reimbursement.

And, don't forget your centerpiece!  This is a fun and creative way for you and your students to show their spirit.  All centerpieces will be evaluated and prizes will be awarded to winners in both the Middle and High school categories.
